The Playbook

How we work,
without the fog.

Most consultancies treat their process like a trade secret. We don't. This page is the actual playbook: what we do, what tools we use, what you get, and what it costs. If you don't like it, don't hire us.

01What you get

Four deliverables.
Each one is a real artifact.

Not a slide. Not a dashboard. The kind of artifact you'd actually take into a board meeting or send to your CFO.

Week 1

System map

Visual map of every tool, owner, and data flow in your business. We hand you the source SVG so you can keep editing it.

Week 2

Opportunity matrix

10–20 use cases scored on impact × effort × readiness. We argue with each other before you see it so the picks survive scrutiny.

Week 3

12-month roadmap (PDF)

Phased plan with budget envelopes, vendor recommendations, internal ownership, and 'definition of done' for each phase.

Week 4

Walkthrough recording

60-minute recorded walkthrough. We answer your team's questions live. Recording is yours, share with stakeholders who couldn't join.

Documents and a notebook on a workspace
02The cadence

One strategist.
No 12-person teams.

Every audit is led by a single senior strategist who has actually shipped AI systems in the wild. They run interviews, do the analysis, write the roadmap, and present it. No handoffs to junior associates after kickoff.

We pull in additional bench depth (engineers, designers, vertical specialists) only when it makes the deliverable better, never to inflate the invoice.

Communication runs on a private Slack channel. Most days you'll get one thoughtful message; some weeks you'll get five. We don't do "hopping on a quick call" for things a paragraph could resolve.

03Tools we reach for

The boring stack
that actually ships.

We have opinions but not religion. Roughly: Claude for reasoning, OpenAI for embeddings, no-code glue when it's enough, custom builds when it isn't.

ToolWhere it earns its keep
OpenAI (GPT-4o)Reasoning, drafting, multi-step agents
OpenAI embeddingsSemantic search and RAG retrieval
n8n / ZapierGlue between SaaS tools when no-code is enough
LlamaIndex / PineconeRAG for knowledge bases
Cloudflare WorkersWhere most of our backends actually run
StripePayments, checkout, escrow (Connect for marketplace)
04What we won't budge on

Four things we'll
never compromise on.

01

If we can't describe it before you pay, we don't deserve the work.

02

Hours are a bad unit for outcomes. We agree on the outcome.

03

Process is published. Deliverables are sample-able. Always.

04

Boring infrastructure beats clever architecture every time.

Process is published.
Now book the audit.

You know what we do, how we do it, and what you'll get. $500 holds your start date.
